Dartford accountancy firm scoops major award
Blue Rocket Accounting has won the 2013 AVN UK Accountancy Firm of the Year Award, a prestigious prize in the accountancy world. The award was presented to director Julie Angell at the AVN National Accountants Conference in Birmingham on 27 June.
“The past couple of years have seen some amazing changes for the practice, although we are only a small team the commitment by us to our clients is exceptional. With impressive new offices and a recent change of name we are really excited about the future. Winning this award is the start of something big! ”
The award winner has to demonstrate that the firm provides exceptional customer service, is a great place to work; gives something back to the community or charity and, of course, is a really effective local business. Uniquely, the winner is chosen by their peers, other accountants from firms of all sizes, from all over the UK.
The trophy was presented by Steve Pipe, founder of AVN, who commented:
“Blue Rocket Accounting is a very worthy winner of the award. In fact, they not only won the overall prize, but also came top in the Service category. So they’re definitely doing the right things for their clients!”
Much more than just number-crunchers!
Blue Rocket Accounting (formerly Clinker Little) is determined to smash the stereotype of boring, grey accountants – and one look at their space-themed website proves just how different they are!
Julie said: “The change of name was to bring the business to life! The old name wasn’t memorable, but Blue Rocket Accounting gives us a real identity. The clients have responded brilliantly to the change and with our newly branded services – ‘Blast Off’ for new business and ‘Reaching for the Stars’ for businesses that really want to be the best. The clients get everything they need for an all inclusive monthly price. ”
